Daniel M Dorothy hails from Harpswell, Maine, USA, a lobster fishing community in Casco Bay. He also lived in Hawaii for several years before eventually emigrating to Thailand in 1991, where he worked as the executive editor of a local newspaper for twenty-nine years.

   

Dan is a writer, newspaper editor and author. He has studied and indeed been a part of Thai culture for over three decades.

 

He has also been a Sci-Fi fan since the 1960s when, as a young lad at his grandparents’ house, he and his sister would sneak out of bed to watch Star Trek from the stairwell.

 

Dan has never time travelled. At least not yet.
